Joshua and Caleb were 2 dudes who had the right attitude ... even in the face of others' stinkin' thinkin'.

Check it out ....

Quote:
Then Caleb silenced the people before Moses and said, "We should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it." -- Numbers 13:30

Now that is attitude to The Power of (IC)². Smile

Quote:
But the men who had gone up with him said, "We can't attack those people; they are stronger than we are." And they spread among the Israelites a bad report about the land they had explored. -- Numbers 13:31-32

That, on the other hand, is stinkin' thinkin'. Sad

Which do you have?

You got the power?

In his book "Leadership - Promises for Every Day", John C. Maxwell uses the above story of Joshua and Caleb to explain what he calls "6 attitude axioms":

    1. Our attitude determines our approach to life.

    2. Our attitude determines our relationships with other people.

    3. Our attitude is often the only difference between success and failure.

    4. Our attitude at the beginning of a task will affect its outcome more than anything else.

    5. Our attitude can turn problems into blessings.

    6. Our attitude is not automatically good just because we belong to God.

Thanks for this info, Rick!! My Pastor once told me that attitude is a choice, a decision of my heart. It requires work and diligence to develop the right attitude. Thanks for this encouragement to do so!!

Your pastor was so very right. Smile

And remember this too ....

No one, and I mean no one, can affect your attitude unless you give them permission. smile

Only you can change your attitude ....

But it takes (IC)² to make it a good one. Smile

Good point Rick! It is so easy to blame a negative attitude on someone else but really we are letting them effect our attitude. We can choose to have an (IC)² attitude and not a negative one.

Good for you Tomalle!! Clap

How about the rest of you? Are you choosing to have the I Can In Christ (I Can In Christ) attitude in all that you do?

Smile
